Here’s how it works:

If you have gear to give away, donate or swap, here are your options:

• Reuse: Fill out our online form and post a couple of photos of the gear you’re giving away. See if another FreeRider will pay the postage to give it a new home and a new owner.
• Donate: If you want to extend the life cycle of your gear and benefit a charity at the same time, state the value of the contribution you’re looking for and the charity you want to benefit. Otherwise it works the same as ‘Reuse’ above.
• Barter: If you’re looking to swap your gear for something else, just state what you’re looking for and what you have on offer to swap. Be as detailed as possible on both items.

We will not share your contact details with any other community members. If another member wants to swap with you, we will send their details to you with their permission and you can get in touch direct to complete the transaction if suitable.

If you are interested in any of the gear on the board below:

• Check to see where the gear is being shipped from, to judge whether it’s probably worth the postage.
• If the gear is up for a swap, ensure you have the required gear to exchange. if so then click ‘Im interested’ and we’ll send an email with your registered email address to the FreeRider who has the gear your want.
• Then it’s up to them to contact you and for you both to agree on postage and delivery.

The FreeRide Republic facilitates the connection between two FreeRiders with their permission. We are not responsible for any costs, delivery or non-contact. Please treat the swap board and your fellow FreeRiders with respect and trust. Hopefully you’ll make some new friends.
