It's not enough just to ride with TSP, we need to know how to use them too. Get familiar with your avalanche rescue gear by joining FreeRide Republic on Monday 20 January from 10.00 - 12.00 in Courchevel 1850 to participate in a free avalanche rescue practice and knowledge share. Meeting point is the Verdons Hors Sac at the top of the Verdons gondala.

I've just purchased my S3V season pass and I'm heading down to the Trois Vallees in my van on 20 December. I'm planning to stay until I run out of money, which will be sometime in March (if I've done my sums right). I've done multiple seasons in the valleys so I know the area pretty well but this season I'm keen to explore Orelle which is the valley I know least well. I'm going to divide my time between Orelle and La Tania, so if either of those sound interesting and you're up for a little off-piste exploration then get in touch.
