Take a break cabin

Ugly sister to the Trappeurs’ Hut (Cabane des Trappeurs’) at the top of the Roc de Tougne chairlift and the Teppes button lift (on the Les Menuires side of Tougnete), the Take a Break (Faites un Break) hut is still a welcome shelter when the weather is not playing ball.

Despite being at a junction of multiple pistes, it’s in a slightly odd location that means it’s only really accessible from the top of the Roc de Tougne chairlift without the need for a short uphill skate or push. All of which means there’s a good chance you’ll find at seat when you need it.

If you happen to have been lucky enough to put first tracks into the Vallon du Fruit, the Take Break Hut is also an excellent spot from which to admire your handiwork.
