Access

This line is right off the top of the Cote Brun chair behind the Pisteurs' hut. If you're lucky they'll be sunning themselves on the balcony and you'll be dropping in under their critical eye. No pressure.

Tech

No specialist tech required but you may want your lucky pants for this one.

Stoke

Your stoke meter will be red lining from the moment you traverse into the line. All eyes will be on you as you commit to your first turn. Once you are through the couloir the pay off is huge with turn after fresh turn all the way to the exit point on the Lac de la Chambre piste 500m below.

7

Gnar

The drop in exceeds 45 degrees so you will most likely be managing your slough as you descend through a relatively narrow couloir. A fall here is not a desirable outcome, plan your route carefully.

9

Awe

This side of the Mont de la Chambre is a very special place. Unlike the west face which has multiple lifts and pistes serving Friendly Les Menuires, the east face is nature's playground. It's just you and your freeride buddies. In-bounds riders on the Lac de la Chambre piste will stop to watch with envy as you descend its mellow slopes.

Images & Video

The start point behind the pisteurs' hut. There are two couloirs to choose from. The first directly below the hut and the other a short traverse across to the opposite ridge line.
