The area consists of several lift connected locations: Méribel Mottaret, Méribel Centre, Méribel Village, Les Allues and Bride Les Bains. It doesn’t have a reputation for FreeRide but in truth there are almost limitless opportunities if avalanche conditions allow, from steep couloirs to wide open powder fields and a world of easily accessible side and slack country. It’s an area ripe for exploration, on a powder day you’ll be spoilt for options. What’s more you’re right at the heart of Les 3 Vallées. To the east is Courchevel and to the south is Val Thorens, impressive FreeRide locations in their own right.
