Saulire Solar Station

400m2 of bi-facial solar panels have been installed at the Saulire Express lift mid-station. These are the first of their kind, in that they are able to collect energy from both sides of the panel – from direct sun or light reflecting off the snow. Energy harvested during lift operating hours is used to help power the lifts, energy harvested at other times is fed back into the grid.
