Ski outPossibly one of the most iconic FreeRide lines in Courchevel.
Access via the Chanrossa chairlift. From the top of the chair stay skiers left and traverse below the Crete de Chanrossa round to the foot of the couloir. You will end up somewhere around the 2400m point. From here find a safe area to transition to skins and start the climb into the couloir. It should be possible to skin all the way to the ridge around 2890m but it's kick turns all the way to the top!

If this line doesn't get you stoked then you don't have a pulse.
This line has consequences. A fall would not be a desirable outcome but the main risk is avalanche. Once in the couloir there is no escape route. Be sure to read the avalanche bulletin before undertaking this line.
Just looking at the Aguille du Fruit, at 3051m the highest peak in the Courchevel domain, will make your spine tingle. Climbing it will physically and metaphorically take your breath away. Sitting on the knife edge ridge looking down to the Lac Merlet in the west will make your pulse race even before you clip into your skis and start the descent.
Aguille du Fruit Nord Couloir in all its FreeRide glory.
