L’Autre Cave Des Creux Déjeuner

Type :
Picnic
Location :
When riding the Cave Des Creux, keep a look out for piste marker 4. When you spot this in the distance, get ready to hang a right. A few metres before the sign head off-piste towards the gap in the trees (an obvious steep drop). Stash your board or planks on the flatter section before boot packing down a few metres to cut your seat in the snow.
Access :
Lift Served

This might not live up to the gourmet standards of it’s name sake a little further up the hill (depending I suppose on what you’ve packed in your lunch bag). This is a super easy access quiet spot to dig a snow seat and take a break. The location is well sheltered and even on days when you can feel the w...

Aiguille Du Fruit (up close)

Type :
Other
Location :
Head to the top of the FreeRide Lab (see link below), from there head on up to the peak above and follow the ridge line towards the Aiguille Du Fruit (see photo).
Access :
Boot Pack or Skin

This place ticks all the boxes.

Picnic / Vista: On a sunny low wind day it’s a great place to have your picnic, even if the wind does pick up there will be places on the leeward side to shelter and the vista (including the Aiguille Du Fruit up close) is almost worth the boot pack on it&...

Saulire Hors Sac

The Hors Sac at the top of the Verdons Gondola has always been a good place to escape the weather in the Courchevel valley on those slightly less than perfect bluebird days. Even if it was pretty basic inside, it was a great spot to dry soggy gloves and thaw out numb toes without having to pay Courchevel prices for ...
