Ski outCracking line from the magnificent Cote Brune ridge, easily accessed from the top of the Becca lift in Les Menuires.
Super easy access line from the top of the Becca lift in Les Menuires but you will want to scope the line first by riding the Cote Brune chair in Meribel. You're going to hike up the short cat track from the top of the Becca chair onto the Cote Brune ridge and then drop down the other side to the chairlift of the same name. At the top of the cat track head north along the ridge until you get to the drop in just short of the highest point on the ridge at 2739m. The entrance is easily identified by the gasex in the mouth of the couloir - which is there for a reason! If you have done your recce, then you will already know if you're going left or right once clear of the couloir.

It's hard not to get stoked by this line. The ridge is spectacular and there's so much vert for endless turns into the valley below.
The scale of the open face does make it feel exposed but once through the drop in it's a playground waiting to be explored. Always check the avalanche bulletin and make your own risk assessment before you commit.
The Cote Brune ridge could be the definition of awe. The views are truly breathtaking and the whole line stretches out before you just begging to be charged. It doesn't really get better than this.
Endless turns on the vast Cote Brune face.
