Access

It's best to scope this line from the Granges chair in Les Menuires (or is it Meribel?). As you ride up the chair the line is on your left hand side just as you go over a ridge on the final leg to the top lift station. To get to the start point simply ski down the Grand Lac blue piste and cut skiers right to get up on to the ridge under the chairlift. From this point push up onto the ridge line above the Grand Lac piste. You can choose your drop in anywhere along this ridge but the best line is right at the end of the ridge. It's a little more effort to get to but it's worth it.

Once you have picked your line, simply ride down to the cat track in the valley bottom and follow this to a point where it joins the Mouflon red piste.

Tech

No special tech is required but this is an off-piste line out of sight of any lift infra-structure or pistes, so TSP are essential. It goes without saying that off-piste skiing is a team sport. You're going to want to bring your buddies along with you for this one.

7

Stoke

This is such a fun detour that delivers a lot of stoke for only a little effort - go for it.

3

Gnar

There's nothing especially gnarly about this line but take it easy hiking along the ridge - a fall would be an undesirable outcome.

8

Awe

This is a top level scenic adventure. Bring a snack with you to enjoy before you drop in and soak up the views.
