Ski outOn the right day the Tougnete East Face is the gift that keeps on giving. Super easy access from the top of the Tougnete 2 chairlift with multiple drop in points and 500m of vertical down to the Roc de Tougne chairlift. Could this be FreeRide heaven?
Getting there couldn't be easier - right off the top of the Tougnete 2 chairlift. There are multiple access points but my favourite is to take a left off the chairlift and herringbone up to the pisteurs' hut. From there follow the track to the ridge and take your pick based on the slope angle and aspect to suit your level and the conditions. If this is your first time on this line it's a good idea to scope it first from the Roc de Tougne chairlift.

There is so much terrain on offer here, it's impossible not to get stoked when the conditions are right to take it on.
It's tempting to charge the steeper aspects but don't be reckless. While the steepest faces are avalanche prone there are plenty of lines with less extreme gradients to choose from.
There's so much to take in here. The endless descent, the awe inspiring views. This is a line that will stay with you for a long, long time.
The top of the Tougnete 2 chairlift with the Pisteurs' hut centre left, the start of your FreeRide adventure.
Looking down the line to the bottom of the Roc de Tougne chairlift (with the lake on the right). FreeRide-tastic.
