La butte de Samuel

Le Praz, France

Type :
Picnic

Location :
From the top of the Plantrey lift head right and follow the black Jean Blanc Piste. Stop riders right on top of the 2nd roller, look slightly off-piste down the mountain past the skin track - you will see a stand of mature pines guarding a small knoll. Now you know where you're headed, follow the piste to the number 4 marker and cut right - keep up your speed to remove the need for pushing or side stepping.

Access :
Traverse

Description:

This is a lovely secluded, sheltered knoll overlooking the Bozel valley. It’s a great place to dig a couple of seats for a picnic lunch or a rest stop. It’s also the beginning of a great FreeRide line that crosses the cat track below and down one of several chutes before rejoining the Jean Blanc piste.
