Ski outSuperb tree-lined gulley for those days when the vis is not the best.
Getting into this line couldn't be simpler. From the top of the Chapelets chairlift, take the piste of the same name, keeping skiers right until you see an open bowl leading down to a gap in the tree-line below. This is your entry point into the gulley. From here it's a very short hike (or a side-step) up to the mouth of the gulley.

///confer.steamy.exaggeratedNo specialist tech is required for this short detour from the piste but it's still technically off-piste so no TSP, no party.
This is one of those lines that will keep you smiling long after you've rejoined the Chapelets piste or will be a survival ski you'll want to instantly forget. The trouble is you never quite know until you've committed which one it's going to be.
The conditions will determine the GNAR. On a good day you'll be bouncing down pillows and weaving perfect turns through the trees, on a bad day you'll be skidding over rocks and tree roots trying to control your speed. It's best to be prepared for both!
While the ride quality of this line may be unpredictable, the awe is consistently high. The steep sided gulley is formidable but undeniably beautiful and the silence of the forest is magical. Even if the line doesn't get you stoked the awe will keep you coming back for more.
