GearSole Power

We all know the mantras of ‘Your most eco-friendly kit is the stuff you already own’ & ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’. With these in mind it surely makes sense to extend the life of any kit you already have….

After 10 years + of heavy use, the soles of my much loved TNF boots were toast, lazily I figured the only option was to have them recycled. Fortunately my good and wise friend @goose turned me onto a postal boot sole replacement service.

Receiving my boots back with new Vibram soles was a great feeling. The craftsmanship was excellent and the only way I could tell these were new was the short lived clean look and the amazing feeling on my feet.

I’ve linked to the replacement service I used below but I imagine with a quick google you’ll find an equivalent service local to you.

It may be recency bias but on my feet these felt better than new…
