Lore #41: My Line Is Your Line.
Find and share the best FreeRide lines
When it comes to chasing powder and exploring the backcountry, scoping and finding the perfect FreeRide line is half the adventure. Whether you’re looking for untouched off-piste routes or heart-pounding descents, this LINES section of FreeRide Republic is your go-to resource. It’s designed for riders who want to explore, discover, and share the stoke with our FreeRide community.
Here you’ll find off-piste lines posted by our team and community. Each route is detailed with essential information to help you plan your descent, from aspect and elevation, to entry points and terrain features, plus conditions about the day each line was written. And we also have our FreeRide meter which scores and details the riders thoughts on: Access – detailing how to find the line; Tech – the equipment needed to ride the line; Stoke – how it made the rider feel; Gnar – the difficulty level; Awe – how epic the line is. Whether you’re scouting for steep couloirs, wide-open powder fields, or technical tree runs; from easy access ‘in-resort’ lines for first timers, to full backcountry lines with maximum gnar, there is a FreeRide route here for you.
Looking to post an awesome FreeRide line of your own? That’s great news! The Republic thanks you. You’ll first need to sign up or sign in, fill out our super simple form and your FreeRide route will be up on the site before the next snowfall – and maybe even sooner if the tech team aren’t already shredding. By contributing your lines, you’re not just sharing knowledge—you’re helping grow the FreeRide community and inspiring others to explore beyond the boundaries.
